I made Mixed Media card with black, white and rose color.
I'll explain the process of making this card.
You will find white circles in the background, I created them with Sakura Modelling paste and Crafters workshop Circle grid template.
Next I used Alpine Ice Magicals from Lindy's stamp Gang. I took very
little amt of Magicals powder and added water in to that. I created
drips on my card, and let color flow to get watercolr background. I made
some splatters with the same rose color.
Next, I adhered torn pieces of text paper from Lemon Lush (gorgeous paper pad) at two three places on the card. At the edges I applied little bit of Dina Wakely gesso. I love the smoothness it gives as a base for surface. My new favourite Gesso :-) yes I use tons in my mixed media work.
And again splatters of rose color...... my background is ready.
Wonderful butterflies are from Penny black Social Butterfly set, aren't they beautiful. I stamped them with ranger black Archival ink,
fuzzy cut them and adhered on the card. Sentiment is also from same
stamp set. I've used Spellbinder's Tag 3 to cut the banner. I colored it
with rose magicals at the edges.
Mou has kept the challenge to complete the project in 30 Mins or less. I took it up and wow, yes I could do it.
Here it is..
I started with 6*8" thick chipboard piece.
I used collage technique, created the background with different design papers and colored papers from my stash, to save the time I adhered them only at the edges. I applied Gelatos in different colors at edges of all pieces of parers, they blend so well in minutes. Also used PIIT pens to highlight them. Made the circles with watered black Gelatos and bottle. And splattered the same with brush.
The Bird stamp is from PaperArtsy.
I finished in 25 mins. I urged to add some more texture but wanted to stick to Mou's challenge and It has come out fab!! I liked it.
Apart from my mixed media canvas madness, I am also hooked on to Dina Wakely 'Art Journal Freedom' book. I recently got this book and it is Amazing... !!!! full of techniques, ideas, examples and step by step tutorials. I will highly recommend this book who love Art Journaling. She has some challenges in book, which I am taking, you must have seen my previous pages, if not they are here and here.

And here is my inspiration for 'The Dark Night' prompt,
I 've created the background with papers and thick layers of gesso. I used brushed pewter, faded jeans distress inks, silent night LSG spray for backgrounds. With Memory box garden birch stencil and grey acrylic paint, I created the trees. I printed starts with Tim Holtz Stars layered stencil. Also added text, grunge stamping with Ranger black archival inks.
Couple image stamp is from Crafty Individuals.

I've created mixed media canvas as an inspiration for Artistic stamper September challenge.
To start with, I attached Tim Holtz tissue wrap paper on my canvas. Applied gesso, and dried it completely. I dabbed Mowed lawn and Mustard seed distress paints randomly, spritzed water and allowed the color to spread and again heat set it. I created circle texture with stencil and Wendy Vecchi embossing paste.
